Civilian Field Representative

The duties and responsibilities, scope and limitations and specific jurisdiction within which the CIVILIAN FIELD REPRESENTATIVE shall perform his/her functions defined hereunder with the highest standards of professional and ethical competence and integrity.

1. Accept applications for new membership and loans only from individuals eligible to be AFPSLAI members or existing AFPSLAI members as provided in the amended By-Laws;
2. Endorse only loans and membership applications duly supported by completely filled up application forms and with complete documentations as prescribed by existing policies preferably from the area where he/ she be assigned;
3. Review the documents submitted by the clients in support of loan applications for completeness and authenticity;
4. Assist the branch / satellite office and its personnel in loan campaigns, member generation programs and activities and other similar promotional campaigns;
5. Discuss with potential clients the terms and conditions governing products being availed;
6. Assist the authorized branch personnel in establishing applicant's identity and eligibility in support of the know your client functional requirements under applicable BSP and AMLA regulations;
7. Dutifully observe the rules and regulations of AFPSLAI concerning data privacy and confidentiality, as well as its consumer protection programs including assistance to clients on their concerns / issues and complaints that might arise out of their transactions;
8. Familiarize oneself with the provisions of the Code of Ethical Standards and Consumer Protection Manual to ensure observance of applicable provisions;
9. Refrain from accepting, receiving, or soliciting any monetary consideration whether in cash or in kind from any of the individuals seeking any service from the Branch Office;
10. Uphold and protect the image and reputation of AFPSLAI by observing the prescribed norms of conduct and refrains from committing any of the prohibited activities as spelled out in the Code of Ethical Standards.
11. Observe exclusivity of services, and that she will not act as an agent of another institution whose line of business competes with that of AFPSLAI for the duration of this agreement; and
12. Provide periodic reports as may be required by the Branch Head in relation with the performance of CFR duties as herein discussed.
