Ten lucky grand prize winners in the recent first Quarter Draw of the AFPSLAI’s 40 Cars @ 40 Raffle Bonanza are now owners of Toyota Vios Cars. Two of the winners claimed their prizes at the AFPSLAI Head Office last May 7, 2012.
In an interview with TSgt Eliseo U Ruizo PA (Ret) from Leyte, he narrated that he filed a loan during the caravan at the Aguinaldo Branch Office on February 16th. He said that he could not believe that he won and a brand new Toyota Vios at that, given that he only had one raffle ticket for his Pension Loan.
TSgt Ruizo is retired since 1997. He availed of a Pension Loan to infuse more funds for his businesses: a carinderia (managed by his wife) and a rice mill in their town. He was also able to use the loan for the education of his youngest son, who is an incoming Sophomore college student this school year. He has been a loyal member-borrower of AFPSLAI since he was a Private in the Army, and as a responsible borrower, his loans have helped his family in their financial needs.
Another winner is PCI Alaine Rey DC Santos who availed of an Emergency Loan from Crame Branch Office in March this year. The loan proceeds were for the tuition fees of her children and leisure. As she has never won in any raffles, she could not believe she was really one of the ten winners of the major prize.
She considers her youngest daughter as her lucky charm, who insisted that she would be the one to drop the raffle ticket in the drop box.
PCI Santos has been a loyal member since 1991. In fact, the family car that they are using is a product of an AFPSLAI loan that she availed of in the past. She is very thankful to AFPSLAI for winning the Toyota Vios Car, and as a loyal member-borrower who has made AFPSLAI a part of their lives, she strongly encourages members to take advantage of AFPSLAI’s products and services.
