For 2015, AFPSLAI remains the leader in the industry and a major part of its success is attributed to its work force. Thus, on December 1, 2015, rewards and recognition were awarded to employees, who have made a significant impact to the improvement of operations in AFPSLAI.
Qualified aspirants for Outstanding Manager, Supervisor of the Year and Employee of the Year were evaluated based on the parameters as follows: Commitment and Dependability, Feedback, Significant Accomplishments, Personality and Work-Life Balance. The Outstanding Civilian Field Representative (CFR) is awarded to the CFR who has relevantly increased the overall loan production of his/her area/branch office.
The recognition is bestowed to employee for their exemplary performance in so far as personnel, operational and model administrative management of their unit/individual task is concerned, thereby contributing invaluably to the overall success of the company for the period in review. For the Outstanding Branch Office of the Year, recognition is given to the branch office that has given significant contribution to the Association’s overall objectives in the pursuit of excellence.
AFPSLAI, through its Outreach Committee, has created again
another project in bringing joy to children.
The My Gift in a Shoe Box project aims to collect and distribute gifts
placed inside an empty shoe box during the Christmas Season to
underprivileged children. For the year 2015, the shoe box gifts were
given to the pre-school children of Hospicio de San Jose.
A simple Christmas party was organized on December 16, 2015 at the welfare institution. More than thirty (30) children had fun playing games with Outreach Committee members. Their faces lightened up when each of them was given a shoe box gift. The remaining gift boxes were all turned over to Hospicio de San Jose for distribution to other children living on the said institution.
It is hoped that others will also be inspired to emulate this project in their own little way. It is a fulfilling experience to share one's time, talents and treasures to others, especially to the less fortunate ones. Nothing warms the heart more than the smiles received from the people whom the blessings are shared with.
